One of my favorite things about Colorado is that just about every time I think I’m starting to get sick of whatever season we’re in, you wake up the next day and everything has changed.
I love the crisp air and cool breeze that rolls in with the fiery autumn colors and toasty coffee drinks.
I love any good excuse to start dressing with more layers, and change up your wardrobe so everything feels fresh and new.
BUT. Dressing for in-between seasons has always stressed me out a little. It’s just about freezing when you wake up, blazing hot during the day and then back down to frigid at night.
WHAT’S A GIRL TO DO?!
That’s how I stumbled on this outfit. It’s long sleeves make it work appropriate, but a little sheer so it’s not too hot. I’m still riding the denim skirt train, but I love how this one is a pencil skirt- again, totally do-able for work without going to over the top. (I also have to say that I love being a designer because I can totally get away with outfits that aren’t normally allowed in other careers, all on the foundation of “artistic liberty.” Take THAT business casual!)
